- The family have grown up and we've taken the plunge. Most people would have headed somewhere warm. We didn't. Heading to a place which is nearer to Oslo than to London, Orkney is our new home. Life is now simpler and more sane.

Wail - yesterday Graemsay was shrouded in mist ALL DAY! And I kept getting friends phoning me up from STromness telling me how sunny it was! Well - enjoy...... after the winter we all need to enjoy these beautiful days.

ReplyDeleteSian, we could see the mist surrounding Hoy in the distance, I didn't realise that Gaemsay was was stuck under it! I hate to say it, it was beautiful on the mainland all day. I hope you got some of the sunshine yesterday evening!
